On the 13th of april 2022,a seminar was held the lecture theatre in the . College of Natural and Applied sciences . The seminar was on the topic : The synopsis on Graphene . The speaker on the topic was Dr Kayode Olumurewa , a lecturer of mcpherson university in the College of Natural and Applied sciences .
Many dignitaries were present at the seminar including ; The registrar , The vice chancellor, The University Librarian and A reporter who were all seated at the left hand side of the stage. Students of Nursing, microbiology and biochemistry were also present for the seminar while the mass communication 100 level students were there to report on the event.

Mr Olumurewa through the help of presentation started his lecture on Graphene by answering the question of what makes Graphene a wonder material . He also touched on the characteristics of Graphene , one being that it is noticably stronger than steel and it is being used in the production of pencils.
The speaker also answered some questions relating to the topic including the dangers of Graphene tattoo on the human body. Dr Olumurewa assured everyone present that no side effects were discovered after an experiment performed on Mice that showed no noticable side effects on humans. Contrary to Numerous results and studies that have shown that graphene materials cause dose-dependent toxicity in animals and cells, such as liver and kidney injury, lung granuloma formation, decreased cell viability and cell apoptosis.
