Nancy Crampton Brophy, author of ‘how to murder your husband ‘ has been sentenced to life in prison, after being found guilty of killing her husband for 1. 4 million insurance payout.
She was convicted on may 2022 for being responsible for her husband’s 2018 death.
Chef Daniel Brophy was gunned down at his culinary school where he taught cooking classes. In court documents, the persecutors said that the 63-year old man was shot twice .
Once in the back as he stood at the sink, while filling water for his students and another in the chest. Prosecutors argued the accused followed her husband to work and shot him with a glock handgun.
Crampton Brophy bought the gun and ghost-gun kit as part of a research for a new book, she told the jury. News of the killing made headlines everywhere due to an essay crampton published in a viral blogpost in 2011’How to murder your husband’.
